Where does my membership money go?
To scholarships for graduating music seniors.

For how long is my SFOM membership active?
One SFOM membership year, which runs from October 1 to September 30.

To what am I committing when I join SFOM?
Absolutely nothing; although SFOM welcomes your active participation.

I want to help. How do I become an active member of SFOM?
You can find the Smithtown Friends of Music email address by clicking on the letter icon on the top of this website or on the membership form.
You can check "contact me" on the membership form and SFOM will contact you.

What is the Gala Concert double CD set?
Audio recording of the Gala Concert on 2 CDs
Bonus full-color booklet containing: pictures of each performing group and names of the members of each performing group

Must be prepaid

Why do I have to prepay for the Gala Concert double CD set?
Our prices remain as low as possible because we contract for a certain amount of sets.

Can non-SFOM members order the Gala Concert double CD set?
Yes, of course. It is a wonderful way to preserve a memorable evening.

Are there different membership and CD order forms?
You can find a combined form through the music department or download the forms right here on this website.

Where is the Gala Concert double CD set that I ordered but have not received?
Gala Concert double CD sets will be available for pick-up at the Spring concerts.

Can I purchase previous Gala Concert double CD sets?
Contact us at smithtownfriendsofmusic@yahoo.com for CD set availability.

Can I order Gala Concert tickets from SFOM?
No. Contact the Smithtown College Scholarship Committee for ticket information.

If any child is selected to receive a Smithtown Friends of Music scholarship but is unable to attend the ceremony, what happens to the scholarship?
The scholarship is mailed to the recipient.
